Description

The SB-10 dryer is the latest addition to the ELEKTROWARM family. It effectively dries shoes, gloves, hats, and socks, while its ozone function eliminates bacteria, fungi, and unpleasant odors. Thanks to its adjustable temperature range of 40–55 °C and a built-in ozone generator, the drying and disinfection process is fast and effective—simply set the timer and let the device do its job.

The control panel offers intuitive operation and timing control, ensuring that drying, disinfecting, and freshening up your footwear is quick, effective, and hassle-free.

The removable shoe holders let you take the device with you on any trip.

In nature, ozone is produced by the sun’s ultraviolet radiation (a photochemical reaction) and by electrical discharges—such as lightning strikes (a bioelectrical reaction). It is artificially generated using ultraviolet rays and corona discharges. Corona discharges occurring between electrodes produce ozone from the oxygen present in the surrounding air. To describe this phenomenon briefly, the energy of the discharges splits oxygen molecules into individual atoms, which in turn combine with other oxygen molecules (O₂) to form ozone (O₃).

About 90% of ozone is found in the upper atmosphere in the form of the “ozone layer.” In the lower atmosphere, it is formed during natural electrical discharges. That is why, after a thunderstorm, the air smells of ozone, which is produced at the temperature of the electric arc.
